Institute of Lifelong Learning invites to the 14th International Conference of Lifelong Learning ICOLLE 2022, which takes place on September 7, 2022 at the Vista Hotel in Brno. In case of an unfavorable epidemiological situation, the conference will take place online. The Main Conference Theme is “Omnes, omnia, omnio” for the 21st century?”
The theme of this year’s conference is connected with the 430th anniversary of the birth of the important pedagogical personality Jan Amos Komenský. His timeless ideas are also relevant in contemporary education both in the Czech Republic and abroad. He emphasized not only the understanding of education as a lifelong process, but also strived for education for all regardless of age, nationality, talent, physical or mental health. His ideas thus lead us to the topics contained in the Strategy of the Czech Republic’s educational policy until 2030+. At the conference, we would like to open a discussion on the current implementation of Comenius’ idea of ”omnes, omnia, omnio”, i.e. to teach “everyone, everything, all-rounder”, in various areas of education.
We welcome contributions of theoretical, empirical, methodological or practical nature dealing with the given topic as well as outcomes of the ongoing or already finished student research or projects (diploma or dissertation theses).
The conference is intended for university teachers, researchers, teachers, counsellors, managers, master or doctoral students, workers in the field of further professional and out-of-school education, including the general professional public. The conference languages are Czech, Slovak and English.
